Crap

Sitting in Munich's Deli and I have just finished writing the post on "Chuck", was about to take myself out into the cold streets when I caught this in the 'Jerusalem Post'; "IDF tanks entered the Gaza Strip briefly on Tuesday, for the first time in a week, Palestinian residents said. Terror groups said they fired rockets and mortars at the tanks."(1)
"Jesus fucking Christ"! Are these people serious? Israeli tanks went into Gaza, which is not theirs to go into and "terrorists" fired rockets and mortars at them. How dare they! The Orwellian new speak is mind numbing. However, it sells; we are told that the two soldiers who were captured by the Hezbollah in 2006 were kidnapped on Israeli soil, when they were, in fact, in the Shaba Farms area, which is claimed by the Lebanon and to which Syria has rescinded its claim. It is certainly not Israeli territory. There then followed the indiscriminate bombing of the Lebanon that was Israel's measured response and after the Hezbollah then retaliated by firing a few relatively harmless, that is harmless compared to what was streaming down on the Lebanon, rockets into the north of Israel, the story was then sold to all and sundry that poor old Israel was being bombed indiscriminately by the Hezbollah. This is seriously offensive crap! Nevertheless, it is the sort of crap that is being spouted out not only by the Israeli media but also by the mainstream media in the West. It is the crap that people take into their mouths when formulating their "arguments" to justify crimes committed and being committed by Israel.
Haven't had a drink since I left China, simply cannot be bothered, like the clear head you see. However, when I read shit like this ..................... time for another "latte".
