Facts

The death toll in Gaza has now increased to more than 280 and it is, no doubt, increasing further while I am writing this. Indeed, how many more will actually be dead before the bombing stops is in Israel's hands and, it would appear that, with the IDF moving in on the ground, my prediction from yesterday is incorrect. Barak, Olmert and Livni are war criminals and one can only hope that we might see them and Bush and his cronies in the Hague some day. What disgusting hypocrisy, what disgusting drivel, what nonsense we have to accompany man's injustice to man and what never ceases to amaze is the self-denial of a large section of the Israeli population and its ability to spout out the same drivel as their leaders do. There we have one Israeli saying that Gaza has been a part of Israel since 1948 and Olmert talking about the right of Israelis to live in peace and quiet. Israelis, considering what Israel is, Mr Olmert, don't have rights or, at least, they don't have rights until the rights of the Palestinians are respected.
Where will we be when this is finished? That question is impossible to answer and I really don't know what Israel wants. Are the Zionists thinking of removing everyone from Gaza? They might be and such is the collective state of denial, the universal amnesia, the "2+2=5" mentality, that is at large in the Israel that in a few weeks we could have Israelis telling us this was necessary. The fact that practically all of them are living on land that was once Palestinian, that "their" country is based on an ethnic cleansing, that they have been illegally occupying or controlling Gaza and the West Bank for more than forty years, that they are building illegal settlements on that land, is conveniently ignored, forgotten, denied. In Germany by the way, Holocaust denial is a crime.
Israel, of course, is also aided and abetted in its criminal farce and their stooges can be found first and foremost in Washington and in an international media that stinks of that type of disgusting subjectivity that denies the facts; the historical facts and the fact that today in Gaza innocents are being murdered. Surely, surely it is time to put a stop to the drivel, to the denial, to the ignorance. Livni has just rejected calls for a truce saying that Hamas is a terror organisation,(1) the oppressor is the "victim", the real victim is a "terrorist," the illegal settlements are Jewish neighbourhoods, ethnic cleansing is "transfer", "Gaza has been Israeli territory since 1948, "2+2 = 5" .
