Jokes

Well the Washington wallies really don't have a sense of humour, do they? There was Hugo Chavez greeting his Minister for Mining, Rodolfo Sanz at a lived televised meeting with a; “How’s the uranium for Iran? For the atomic bomb?” And the Washington wallies respond with a stern response voicing their concern that there might be nuclear transfers between Venezuela and Iran.

Mr Chavez pointing out that Iran has enough uranium of tits own and his own record of oppostion to nuclear weapons isn't going to pacify the hawks in the pentagon. Hugo is Mr Ahmadinejad's pal and he really shouldn't be telling jokes about something so serious as the "Iranian bomb", should he? Of course, the biggest joke might the much ado about nothing, that is the fuss about a possible bomb in Iran. However, at a time when the US might just be planning to attack Iran's nuclear facilities it would need a special type of black humor to appreciate that joke.

In the meantime the 'Irish Times' reports that "ISRAEL HAS rejected the call by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and open up its atomic sites to international inspection." A report which failed to get into much of the mainstream media, never mind the front page of the daily drivel. What a joke!
