Netanyahu gets upset at PA naming a street in Ramallah after a terrorist

It is not my intention here to go through street directories of Israel's main towns, all of them built more or less on Palestinian land, and match the street names with some murderer affiliated to the Haganah, Irgun, Stern Gang or IDF, or, indeed, to the Israeli government itself. Let us suffice to mention but two place names and two criminals; well, doesn't David Ben Gurion himself hold the ultimate responsibility for the ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1948, and there we are arriving at David ben Gurion airport when we fly into Tel Aviv .... oh, and what about the slightly mad Christian Zionist, Orde Charles Wingate, who had to leave Palestine in 1939 with a stamp in his passport forbidding him to return? Still, not before he had managed to show his pals how to treat Palestinians. Yes, they really do like him down Israel way and the man has a square in Jerusalem named after him.

So, the 'Haaretz' today is telling me that Binyamin Netanyahu is getting upset that the PA have named a street in Ramallah after "the infamous Hamas arch-terrorist Yihyeh Ayyash," and just to quote Bibi the current "Ober Zionist",  has said, "Right next to a Presidential compound in Ramallah, the Palestinian Authority has named a street after a terrorist who murdered hundreds of innocent Israeli men, women and children," the statement said, adding that "the world must forcefully condemn this official Palestinian incitement for terrorism and against peace." Well, of course, anyone who murders innocents should not be commemorated and we really don't want to go down the road of saying that there are no innocents; women and children, non combatants? No, do you know, Bibi might even have a point; yes, he might, if it weren't for the fact that this stinks of that type of hypocrisy that it becomes quite insane and we don't even have to conjour up the ghosts of Orde, who used to slit the throats of Palestinian prisoners and David who let towns and villages be ethnically cleansed. We have enough very real terrorists currently sitting in the Israeli government and Israeli armed forces and Bibi we can only hope that when it comes to building a Benyamin Netanyahu Street the whole world will have had just about enough of this disgusting nonsense. Now, my mind is drifting off to a recent stroll down Whitehall in London where I was confronted with a right gallery of rogues. That, however, is a slightly different story.
