Hillary Clinton and Hope or Hype?

That Hillary Clinton is a good friend of Israel cannot be disputed but this is a lady who goes far beyond the normal call of duty in additionally ingratiating herself with the Zionist State. Her involvement in the Palestinian Media Watch is one example of this and her recent criticism of the school books that Palestinians use is enough to make you want to throw up. Among other things, she said, "Hate has no place in the curriculum of schools, and the glorification of violence has no place in the education of children."(1) Well, normally, no Hillary, hate doesn't have a place in school books and I myself think that when you are being bombed and humiliated every day, you hardly need to put hate into the school books. Hillary, wake up, these people are dispossessed, they are occupied and they are being humiliated every day. Now, not only are they being told that they are terrorists if they resist an illegal occupation, but they are also being reprimanded for hating the people who stole their land, occupied them and degrade them every day and Hillary while you are getting upset at their "denial of Israel’s existence and the historical omissions of the Holocaust",(2) what about Israel's denial of the ethnic cleansing that began in 1947 and is still going on as I write this, no mention of which you will find in Israeli or American school books, and does Israel give the Palestinians a right to exist?
Well, today, it is looking increasingly likely that Hillary is going to be Obama's "Conny". Of course, if we see this as further evidence that our great "changer" is actually more of a "chancer" we wouldn't be completely wrong. Nevertheless, we don't need to know that Hillary is to be Barack's Secretary of State to know this, because, as Hillary herself said back in June, "let me be very clear -- I know that Senator Obama will be a good friend to Israel."(3) We know you do Hillary, and we really didn't need you to tell us and If Obama's speech some months ago to the AIPAC, wasn't sufficient evidence, we were beginning to get the picture with Rahm Emmanuel's appointment last week. "Changer" or "chancer", "hope" or "hype"? For christ's sake, look at the people who are going to be in his administration! Or did we really expect him to appoint Rashid Khalidi as his Chief of Staff, Bill Ayers as his Secretary of State, while finding jobs for maybe Chomsky and Finkelstein and maybe, Bernardine Dohrn or Waddie Said as the Attorney General? No, this is a clever man, I know that, a real smooth operator and just the type of 'Uncle Tom' that 'Uncle Sam' needs these days, somebody who can get the troops out of Iran, especially now that the oil companies are back, and into Afghanistan, someone who can help "negotiate" a final settlement for all Palestinians with Abbas, while conveniently forgetting resolutions , 181, 194, 242 and 338 and make the poor bastards think that they are actually getting something. Someone who can at least make it a little less obvious what the robber barons in Wall Street are up to, The empire has its new front man and if he needs some denial to accompany the waffle, spin and nonsense, then he can have a wee word with his new "friend" Hillary.
