A tale of three headlines

'Haaretz' today and a tale of three headlines: "150 academics back actors' boycott of settlement arts theatre", "Rabbi Ovadia Yosef sparks fury by saying that Palestinians should perish" and "Tel Aviv dental school accused of conducting experiments on humans, animals."

Well, the first two of those headlines would appear to suggest that there is some hope regarding the oxymoronic "Jewish Democracy". After all, there were most certainly no boycotts of any of the dictates from Dr Josef Goebbel's "Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda" and very little condemnation of that rhetoric which facilitated the establishment of death camps throughout Europe. The story about the dental school in Tel Aviv, however, might just give us some cause for real concern.
