The man who took Britain into an illegal war, who shares responsibility for the deaths of millions of innocents, who since leaving office has made millions and millions of pounds from after dinner speeches, dubious business deals and friendships with not the nicest of people, has decided to donate the proceeds from his his forthcoming memoir to the Royal British Legion.
Fortunately, not everyone is buying into it and many, like the anti-Iraq war campaigner Rose Gentle, who lost her 19-year-old son, Gordon, in Iraq, while pleased that the money might benefit those injured in Tony's war are at least determined not to let it change the way that they feel about him.Yes, the man who now accepts Zionist money and the friendship of a motley crew of dubious politicians throughout the globe, who now seeks salvation via the Roman Catholic Church and who apparently "recognises the courage and sacrifice the armed forces demonstrate day in, day out," is not about to be forgiven by any but the most myopic of the British people and the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi men, women and children? No Tony, if there really is a hell, you will need a bit more than the Catholic Church to stop you going there.
